— Let’s look at Sports Illustrated
What’s something you changed your mind about recently, and why?
I used to think more options always made an experience better. More flexibility felt like the right answer.

Lately, I’ve changed my mind. I’ve seen over and over that fewer, clearer choices help people move forward with more confidence. Most of the time, removing options and adding structure leads to better outcomes.
Where do you tend to slow things down, even when speed is expected?
I slow things down at decisions that affect trust or are hard to undo. Those moments are worth getting right.

Everything else moves quickly. Taking a little more time up front usually saves a lot of time later.
What problem do people usually bring you in to solve when things aren’t working?
People usually bring me in when things feel stuck or messy. The problem is often not a lack of effort, but a lack of clarity.

My role is to simplify what is going on, figure out where people are getting blocked, and turn that into a clear path forward that teams can actually act on.
